James Jean - the #1 inspiration for my work

James Jean is a taiwanese-american visual artist, known for both his commercial work and fine art gallery work. He is known in the American comics industry as a cover artist for various books published by DC Comics, as well as for his work for Prada, ESPN and Atlantic Records. His work, which has been collected in numerous volume, has been compared by the New York Times to that of Maxwel Parrish.
The reason this artist is such a great influence on me is because he made an entire book of Fable Covers he created. The Fables are usually Taiwanese and, therefore, unknown to me - however - his work has inspired my theme to be what it is today. He also has many works with wolves, one of a swan and one with a Weeping Willow in the background which was the main inspiration for my Suicide project.
